Boho Primary/Master Bath Remodel + Addition

Redmond, Oregon.

Located in southwest Redmond, Oregon, our client’s home was nearly perfect in every way for them, with one exception - the primary bathroom. The existing bathroom, albeit new, felt cramped, dark, and sterile. Functionally, the owner always wanted an XL soaking tub to relax, read, and… well, soak, and if possible didn’t want to have to walk through their bathroom to get to their walk-in-closet.

No stranger to remodels, and with a strong vision in mind, the owner came to Life Design Build to help turn her ideas into a reality and we got to work.

After multiple design iterations and refinement, structural engineering, permitting and construction, the end result is the owner’s own private luxury spa. A primary/master bathroom that’s spacious, filled with abundant natural daylight (while maintaining privacy from neighbors), and appointed with playful bohemian-style (“Boho”) detailing, materials, fixtures and decor in-line with the owner’s sensibilities.

Features include a massive east-facing 4×8’ skylight with curving skylight well, numerous arched shelving alcoves, curbless open shower, an oversized 70×40” soaking tub, floor-to-ceiling wall tile, in-floor heated tile, ceiling-mounted rain shower, and more.
