Tyson Gillard is a progressive entrepreneur, licensed architect, licensed contractor, and designer who has worked for 20 years with multi-disciplinary professionals, stakeholders, and users across various fields in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Growing up in the Cascades of Central Oregon, as the son of an environmental consultant dad and geographer/artist mom, Tyson forged an early connection with the natural environment. He studied Architecture at the University of Oregon and Universität Stuttgart in Germany.

Tyson’s professional pursuits are inspired by human experience, technical challenge and nature. His work has led to a broad array of experience ranging from residential design, project management, master planning, sustainability strategy, transportation and industrial infrastructure design, as well as sales, marketing and executive management. His experience has culminated in him being the founder of Life Design Build, Life Architecture + Planning, and Outdoor Project.

In his spare time, Tyson enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two kids, and building random things at home.
