Congruous with Life Design Build’s ethos, Bivvi was co-founded by our Head of Design, Dylan Woock, in 2019 with a vision for creating a product that married his passion for design and construction, and was a literal vehicle for fostering a better connection between humans and nature. Eventually Dylan would team up with childhood friend and master carpenter, Kyle Robeson, to take Bivvi to the next level, and ultimately they merged with Life Design Build to combine forces with a multitude of shared passions and vision for the business.

The name Bivvi stems from a common word and object synonymous with exploration of the outdoors, “bivouac” - a small shelter that can be easily packed and deployed in the wilderness. And as such, Bivvi is in the business of designing and manufacturing tasteful modern and portable tiny home cabins to extend people’s access and comfort in the great outdoors.

Currently, Bivvi offers two models available to consumers across the United States, the entry level Base Camp A-frame, and the mid-level Mid Camp cabin with more head clearance, bath space, and built-in front deck stoop - each with their own customization and upgrade options. Whether you’re A) looking to provide guest accomodations for your friend and family on your land, B) need quick and accessible housing and shelter on your land, C) just need interum shelter, or D) want any easy option for additional rental income on your property or private campground, Bivvi can serve a myriad of needs and desires.
